Hardangervidda Nature Centre, in Eidfjord on the west side of Hardangervidda, wants to help to form a close link between modern man and the natural environment.
The Centre provides knowledge and thrills related with the natural history, cultural heritage and opportunities for outdoor recreation on the Hardangervidda plateau and in Eidfjord. It opened in 1995 and was authorised as a national park visitor centre for Hardangervidda in 1997.
Aims The Centre aims to gather and spread knowledge on the interplay in nature and on relations between nature and human activities. It wants to help to form a close link between modern man and the natural environment.

- supervideograph that screens a film by Ivo Caprino, the main topic of which is a trip among fjords, mountains and waterfalls
