Norwegian National Park Visitor Centres
The 14 national park visitor centres in Norway are a doorway to natural history, scenery and the enjoyment of nature!
The National Park Visitor Centres are privately run, but are working under authorisation from the national environmental authorities. This requires all visitor centres to follow certain national guidelines.
At the centres, you will find information on:
- Norwegian national parks in general, with extra focus on 1 or 2 parks in the vicinity
- Outdoor recreation and the public right of access
- Local natural history and cultural heritage
You can also get assistance in planning trips in the national park and elsewhere in the district.
The centres are scattered throughout the country. Click on the map to read more about the individual centre.
